Some bad news today......

Ok, lots of ground to cover today.......there's some good news and some bad news. I might as well get the bad news out of the way first.

Gamefront is reporting that according to the latest Famitsu, Konami is dropping several projects for the Playstation 3, including Coded Arms and Gradius.

No Gradius on PS3 makes Postman an unhappy camper.

The silver lining to this cloud is that first, Konami hasn't confirmed this yet, and second, it doesn't rule out the fact that they could still develop the series on the Wii or the 360. With Konami's close relations with Treasure, and Treasure developing for the 360, perhaps some of the Microsoft "magic" will rub off on Konami......

UPDATE: Disregard the above news.....looks like Famitsu was a little too quick in reporting this, Konami has responded that those titles are still in development, they just don't have a release date yet. I can hear the collective sigh of Gradius fans everywhere......
