Testing the Waters
Since we got a PS3 in at my place of employment (read my other bolg for more info.....), I had to "test" out Gradius 5 and be sure it ran properly on the new console, seeing how G5 is the benchmark US shmup on Sony's system. I only went up to level two since the store was busy, but it ran perfectly. Playing ps2 shmups on the new system? Great feeling. Playing ps3 shmups on the new system (hopefully Gradius 6)? INCREDIBLE FEELING!

question is, is Gradius 6 ever coming out? suddenly indefinite hold and canceled sounds the same.
Treasure is working on an X-Box 360 shooter (yet unknown), and I haven't heard any more on Gradius 6, so one can only hope......I have the feeling that G6 will see the light of day eventually.
