Here's a quick mention of two more titles that have popped up in the shmup world:

Exceed 2nd: Vampire (Flat) : Looks to be the sequel to Exceed, boy that was fast! Not much else is revealed just yet, but it has something to do with vampires........

Terra Galactica (Shadowsoft Games): A GBA game in developemnt! Taken from their site:

"Terra Galactica, or TG, is Shadowsoft Games' primary concern - a 2D arcade / adventure shoot 'em up, complete with an ongoing deep, dark story, 1 or 2 player single or multi pak gameplay, 15+ customisable weapons and vast levels. The project utilises 100% original art, sound and design, coded from the ground up, with a planned seven levels, five difficulty modes and a training level. "

One or two player gameplay? Adventure elements? Deep story? If that's not enough to get you interested, the soundtrack is done by none other than Vodkatron! For those who don't know, Vodkatron is a very talented music studio comprised of big time shmup fans (who usually frequent the Shmups.com forum).
